The Faros Competition Team invites you to a free webinar on 29 April 2026. The webinar will provide a very practical explanation of the position of individual employees under Belgian competition law.
Competition law: closer to home than you think!
In two recent cases, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) has not only taken action against companies, but also against employees within those companies.
In the Newspaper Concession 2023-2027 case, fines were imposed on individuals, and in the ongoing investigation into the traffic signalling and street furniture sectors, searches were recently conducted in private homes. The time when such measures existed only as theoretical possibilities under the Competition Act has now definitively passed.
Faros’ Competition Team invites you to a free webinar on 29 April 2026. This will provide a very concrete explanation of the position of individual employees under Belgian competition law.
Who is at risk? For which practices can individual employees be held accountable? What sanctions do they risk? Can immunity be obtained? Can the BCA simply raid private homes? Can companies do anything to protect their employees?
