Karolien Francken who leads compliance at Faros was invited to the launch of the chair created by VBO-FEB at the law faculties of the universities in Ghent and Liège.
Compliance in companies is increasing in importance, and therefore academic research is too. The purpose of the chair is to allow the supervisors to investigate and deepen legal issues concerning compliance in companies. In addition to that, it is a means for specialists in the field and academic lawyers to investigate policy-sensitive compliance issues.
